We are an open club, welcoming any and all skill levels, ages, genders, sexual orientations, and race.
While we are associated to Monash University, members of the community are also welcome to join and play alongside our students, staff, and alumni.
We play 2 hour timed games in both Summer & Winter leagues
Winter & Summer Seasons
Winter Competition - April to August.
The club currently field 4 to 5 mixed teams in the Melbourne Winter Baseball League.
Games are played Saturday afternoons, with an early game starting at 12:15pm, and a late game at 2:40pm.
Summer Competition - October to February.
The club currently field 1 to 2 mixed teams in the Victorian Summer Baseball League.
Games are played Sunday afternoons, with an early game starting at 1:00pm, and a late game at 3:30pm.
Players are required to be available to warm up at least 1 hour before game time.
Training & Home Games
We train year round, under lights, on Frearson Oval at Monash University Clayton Campus on Wednesday nights from 6pm to 8pm. Following training we usually get together for a bite to eat and a chat.
Home games are played about 10 minutes drive away from the Clayton campus at Gladeswood Reserve in Mulgrave.
Equipment & Uniforms
Each team has a kit containing balls, bats, helmets, and catchers gear.
We can often help out with a glove while you learn the game, but we do recommend finding one that works for you.
Most players wear baseball cleats, but footy or soccer boots are ok too.
Uniforms, including hats, playing tops, and warm up tops, are available for purchase from the club.
