Come and Try

Women’s Baseball

The Monash University Baseball Club is thrilled to restart its women’s baseball program in the upcoming Winter 2025 season.

To prepare for the season, we’re hosting a series of free, no obligation, informal 'Come and Try' sessions for women interested in giving baseball a go.

When?
Sessions will be held every Wednesday evening from October 16 to November 13, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
A free BBQ will follow each session.

Where?
We’ll kick off at the cricket nets on Frearson Oval, Monash University Clayton Campus.

What to bring?
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for running. All baseball gear (bats, gloves, balls, etc.) will be provided by the club.

What to expect
These sessions will focus on teaching the basics of baseball (throwing, catching, hitting) in a fun, relaxed environment.

Do I have to be a Monash University Student?
Nope!

Our sessions are open to women of any age, background, or experience level wanting to come and give baseball a try!
